Prof. Dr. Yusuf Avcı presented his speach titled “Nationalism and Guidance in Indian Revolutionaries: An Examination of Fıtrat's Role Model Heroes”. In his speach, Avcı said, “In this work, Fıtrat shows how to resist the colonization movements of the imperialist British through culture and ideas, that is, through the pen and emotion. The Turkish world, which was brought down by the imperialists' recruitment pens, will rise with the pen from where it fell with the pen with the same method. With this consciousness, Turkish culture has entered the path of resurrection with the pen” and made inferences based on Fıtrat's works.
